Surveillance is usually thought of with an investigation but it can also be a valuable tool in a protection detail or Threat management case. There are different tools we use to protect the client and one is to know where the person who has made threats may be and if they are attempting to locate or come to the client location. 

Part of the threat assessment is to gather information on the suspect about where they live, work and the kind of cars they drive. We also want to learn if the suspect own weapons or has any past history of violence. 

By having a surveillance detail on the suspect we are able to have advance warning if he or she is approaching our clients location so we can take preventive steps in advance. Also with the surveillance team following the suspect we are able to ensure the suspect doesn’t get away to strike another day.
