Avid’s alliance company West Coast Detectives was one of the pioneers in the use of polygraph in the 1960’s. Since that time we have conducted thousands of successful polygraph tests for a variety of cases. 

Polygraph is an instrument that measures body and mind reactions to questions about an event. The machine is very accurate but of equal importance is the qualification of the examiner. The examiner should not only be very familiar with the machine but also an effective interrogator who is able to perform an effective pre test interview where so many times the suspect admits to what they have done.

We have used the polygraph effectively in threat and protective cases where we had suspects who were close to the client or part of their company. Polygraph is another important tool in the threat annalist arsenal and helps in difficult cases plan an effective protection protocol.
